Vito Bzdel
Senior Partner 
Vito has over eight years of consulting experience with multinational and middle market clients. In addition to consulting, Vito has held positions as Chief Financial Officer for Zurich Global Energy (a global insurance unit of Zurich Financial Services Group), as Controller for the Bermuda insurance and brokerage operations of Texaco Inc. and as an Audit Manager for Arthur Andersen.


Vito’s experience includes management of an organization’s finance, accounting and information technology departments, including development of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts. His experience also includes organizational and business process analysis and re-engineering, financial and operational software selections, application design and implementations, and various financial planning and analysis assessments, and over twenty years of finance experience.

Vito is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds an M.B.A, and a B.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Vito’s relevant experience includes:
  • System and process support for a major US pharmaceutical company. Was primary support for maintaining and enhancing the clients budget/forecasting system. Responsible for all elements of the budget/ forecast process and was a direct liaison to the finance community to assist in the functional and technical aspects of the system.
  • Geac MPC implementation and support services for a major US Pharmaceuticals company , focused on improving the timeliness and depth of information available from its budgeting and forecasting functions. Project included replacement of existing Hyperion Pillar budgeting system, use of advanced allocation formulas, business drivers, and excel services in a multi model environment.
  • Performed Geac MPC implementation for a regional P&C Insurance Company to replace the existing excel spreadsheet based budgeting model. Engagement included a phased approach in order to meet clients tight implementation timeframes. Project included use of detail budgeting, creation of data input schedules for field agents direct input, approval process and production (crystal) reporting.
  • Performed performance improvement implementation for a US based insurance organization. Project focus was improved management reporting, analysis and budgeting capabilities. Project included sophisticated use of allocations, formula’s and drivers to develop budget results.
  • As a former Controller and Chief Financial Officer in the Insurance Industry, managed strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting. Developed a reporting system for multi-dimensional management analysis and reporting. Significant experience implementing and converting ERP systems, improving business processes and reducing operating costs.
