Bart Scott
Founding Partner of CFO Solutions
Bart has eight years of experience in consulting and project management with Large-Cap and Middle market clients. Bart has served as project manager on several large global system implementations.

Bart has extensive experience implementing global budgeting, forecasting and management reporting systems. Specializing in all aspects of the GEAC MPC system, Bart has also worked on projects lending his expertise in SQL Server, Analysis Services, Oracle and Web Development. Bart has been working with the MPC Product since Version 1.0 of BudgetPLUS the original product name of MPC.

Prior to working in the consulting industry, Bart was the Director of Technical Services for Lender’s Service Inc. Bart was responsible for Management of the Help Desk, PC LAN/WAN, Midrange System Operations and administration as well as Software Licensing, Hardware and Software Maintenance contracts. Responsibilities also include all hardware and software acquisitions and upgrades, twenty-one Full Time employees and three contractors within a three million dollar expense budget and a two million dollar capital budget.

Bart has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Bart’s relevant experience includes:
  • Project Manager for an MPC on Oracle project for a Major US Pharmaceutical company. Responsible for the Technical team of consultants and all technical aspects of the project. Delivered MPC application within an extremely aggressive timeline, including three separate MPC Databases encompassing five different divisions of the company. Phase I included full nightly automation of Actual data received from their GL system and Order entry systems.
  • Data warehouse Designer/DBA for a Mortgage Portfolio score carding company in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for the Data architecture Design, Development and implementation of a SQL Server Data warehouse utilizing Business Objects for Business Intelligent analysis/scoring of Loan Portfolios.
  • Project Manager for an MPC on Oracle project for a Worldwide Utility company. Responsible for three separate Phases of implementation. Phase I consisted of Budget Data Collection and Consolidation, including Inter-company eliminations and Journal entries. Phase II consisted of Actual Data Collection and Consolidation with Inter-company eliminations and Journal entries for their Monthly close process. Phase III added monthly Forecasting and enhancements to the initial two Phases
  • Project Manager for an MPC Web on SQL Server project for a New Jersey Fuel Delivery Company. Responsible for all phases of project planning, prepared technical design documentation, and identified IT requirements for production. Phase I delivered an actual reporting application on Microsoft SQL Server utilizing Comshare Decision, with monthly updates from an Oracle Financials database.
